Johnny Marlin “John Paul” Lashley, a resident of Dothan, Alabama, died unexpectedly Friday, August 26, 2022, at his home. He was 71.
Per his wishes there will be no services at this time.
John Paul was born to the late Marvin and Hosie Mae Tyler Lashley on June 8, 1951, in Georgia. He retired from Southeast Gas District after thirty years. His hobbies included fishing and playing pool. John Paul was a loving husband, father grandfather, great grandfather, son, and brother. He will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Phillip Lashley.
Survivors include his wife of thirty-seven years, Debra Makee Lashley; three daughters, Melissa Lashley, Stacy Lashley, and Veronica Lashley; a stepson, Rick Green; a brother, Terry Lashley; a sister, Diane Lashley; five granddaughters, Christin, Allyson, Autumn, Hope, and Emma; a grandson, Abel; a great grandson, Luke along with many friends.
