Sara received a full scholarship from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, graduated with a BS degree in chemistry/biology and a master’s degree in business. Sara suffered a catastrophic health issue in 2004 and received a transplant in 2005. While being in the hospital, she became interested in becoming a nurse.
