Mrs. Pamela Jan Clanton McMichen, age 50, of the Dogtown Community, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2012.
Mrs. McMichen was a 1980 graduate of Sand Rock High School. She was a faithful member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church and a proud sponsor of the World Vision Ministries. She had a special love for children, especially her nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday from the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev Scott Hosey and the Rev. Oscar Williams officiating.
Burial will follow in the Walker’s Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening 5-8 p.m.
Mrs. McMichen is survived by her husband of 30 years, David McMichen; parents, Nolan and Sylvia Clanton; brother, Rodney Clanton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Woddy and Gina Clanton, Jeffrey and Rebecca Clanton and Jeremy and Misty Clanton; sister and brother-in-law, Tammy and Scott Hosey, nieces: Katie Pearson, Jessica Pearson, Lily Clanton, Kelley Bree Clanton and Presious Clanton; nephews, Ethan Clanton, Nickalas Clanton, Neal Pearson, Casey Pearson and Colin McMichen.
